Mental Health Therapist (licensed/ Licensed Eligible)

We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist for our growing mental health agency in Venice, FL. This role is open to both licensed and unlicensed therapists (supervision for licensure is provided). Positions are available full-time and part-time (part-time offered to fully licensed clinicians only).
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing clinical procedures and guidelines, as needed.
- Actively participate in staff meetings and case presentations.
- Assist in supervising Care Coordinators during initial intakes.
- Provide supervision and consultation to staff and student interns, as appropriate.
- Deliver patient-centered therapy interventions with an emphasis on patient involvement as part of the treatment team.
- Utilize the electronic medical record to document patient screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress, and referral information, completing documentation within required timelines.
- Advocate for patients’ access to community resources.
- Collaboratively develop treatment plans with input from patients, families, treatment team members, and other agencies.
- Coordinate and communicate with the treatment team to provide optimal patient care.
- Use multiple interventions such as group, individual, and family therapy to assist patients in meeting their goals.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity issues in assessment and treatment.
- Respect the inherent dignity and worth of patients.
- Actively monitor patient progress toward goals and address termination/discharge-related issues, including providing outside referrals as needed.
- Work independently and in a team environment, prioritizing workload based on demands and administrative reprioritization.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Open to unlicensed/master’s level therapists (RCSWI, RMHCI, RMFTI) as well as fully licensed clinicians (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT).
- Supervision for licensure provided for unlicensed therapists.
