About the role
Join our team as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist dedicated to improving access to behavioral health care and supporting diverse communities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for clients and families
- Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to each client's needs
- Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to promote stability
- Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
- Complete billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance forms promptly
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and administrative staff
Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
- Active professional license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia and/or Maryland or eligibility for licensure
- Passion for mental health and commitment to quality care
- Strong communication skills, ethical practice, and ability to build rapport
- Effective time management and documentation skills

Pay
Compensation is based on licensure, experience, and incentives, ranging from $58 to $73 per billable unit.
