Mental Health Therapist (Full Time Days)

About the role

Responsibilities

• Completes psychosocial assessments and develops individualized service plans.
• Facilitates individual, group, and family therapy within scope of practice.
• Coordinates referrals and community resources to support recovery goals.
• Provides clinical oversight and ensures timely and accurate documentation.
• Conducts crisis interventions and follows up as necessary.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment that supports positive outcomes.
• Participates in individual and group supervision as required.
• Attends ongoing education and training activities.
• Completes required training and maintains required competencies.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, substance dependency, or related field.
• Unrestricted license as a Pennsylvania Licensed Mental Health Professional (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
• 3 years of experience in an acute mental health setting, substance use treatment, or relevant work.
• Knowledge of principles of recovery, family of origin/intergenerational issues, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
• Experience working with special populations (serious mental illness, family systems, substance use diagnoses, brain injuries, and individuals over 60 years of age).
• Able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Current CPR certification (BLS).

• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
• Understanding of co-occurring disorders.

Pay

Maximize Your Earnings With Additional Hourly Pay:

• Monday-Thursday Nights: +$2/hr
• Friday-Sunday Nights: +$3/hr
• Saturday-Sunday Days: +$2/hr

Schedule

Full-time only.
