Mental Health Therapist - Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide culturally sensitive assessments, individual and family therapy, and develop crisis and safety plans to support clients' mental health and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Conducting strength-based assessments for diverse clients and families.
• Providing tailored outpatient therapy sessions.
• Creating crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and discharge planning.
• Completing billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations accurately.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• Provisional license as per state regulations (if required).
• Passion for mental health and ongoing professional development.
• Strong communication skills, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and complete administrative tasks.
• Proficiency in Portuguese is required.
