About the Role
Join New Directions Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network (TCN), in empowering Mental Health Therapists to make a difference in behavioral health. Our clinics provide a supportive environment for both emerging and licensed therapists, offering collaborative clinical teams, growth and development opportunities, and pathways to licensure. Therapists work alongside psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow clinicians to deliver holistic, client‑centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive, strength‑based assessments for new clients and families, fostering an inclusive environment.
- Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy that addresses each client’s unique needs and circumstances.
- Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse‑prevention, and wellness plans to support stable functioning and client empowerment.
- Participate actively in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care.
- Complete billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in a timely and professional manner.
- Engage in collaborative care with multidisciplinary team members to deliver a holistic approach to mental health.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
- Provisional license (if required by state regulation) and/or professional licensing.
- Passion for mental health and commitment to high‑quality care.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education.
- Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong ethical practice and confidentiality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Effective time management and ability to complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

Pay
The base compensation range for this role is $33 – $38 per billable unit. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market‑driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities.
