About the role
Skip-a-Long Childhood Centers, part of SAL Community Services, is the Quad Cities' leading provider of early childhood care and education. We aim to create a safe, secure, and supportive environment where children can thrive through play.
Responsibilities
- Engage meaningfully with children and families to discover strengths and scaffold their needs.
- Provide play-based intervention and consultation to children and families.
- Coach and support Skip-a-Long early care and education staff in innovative programming.
- Assess and respond to children’s and families’ complex needs using standardized tools and coordinated supports.
- Lead the development and support of a program evaluation framework.
- Stay current with best practices and provide guidance internally and externally.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health, or Counseling.
- An active Illinois License Clinical Social Work/Iowa Licensed Independent Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor/Iowa Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health services to children and/or families in Early Childhood, Community Based, Social Service, or Family Support settings.

BASE WAGE $30.59-$33.65 based on experience and education level.
