Mental Health Therapist

About the role

Join a dedicated mental health team committed to improving community access to behavioral health services. As a therapist, you will conduct culturally sensitive assessments, provide individualized outpatient therapy for clients and families, and develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans. You will participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning while ensuring timely documentation, billing, and insurance authorizations. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and administrative staff—is essential for holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive assessments for clients and families
• Provide individualized outpatient therapy

• Ensure timely documentation, billing, and insurance authorizations

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• Current active license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or eligibility for licensure
• Passion for mental health and ethical practice
• Strong communication and time management skills
