About the role
As an Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health’s new locally owned and operated clinic in St Louis, MO, you'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care. Responsibilities
- Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement, and maintain treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in your community.
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
- Clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LP, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- Experience with completing diagnostic assessments (DAs), treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
- Proficiency in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant).
Skills
- Passion for therapeutic approaches such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, humanistic therapy, play therapy, art therapy, musical therapy, social work, Adlerian therapy, and group, couples, or psychotherapy.
- Experience or interest in working with BIPOC populations, gender identity, sexual orientation, and PTSD.
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
