About the Role

Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking compassionate, skilled, and client-centered Mental Health Therapists to join our growing behavioral health team. We are especially seeking Spanish-speaking clinicians who are passionate about expanding access to culturally responsive mental health services within our diverse communities. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide therapy services through a combination of onsite care in South Amboy and telehealth appointments while collaborating with psychiatric providers and fellow behavioral health professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

What You'll Do

Clinical Services

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy services
  • Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including:
    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
    • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
    • Solution-Focused Therapy
    • Trauma-Informed Care
  • Support clients in developing healthy coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and wellness goals
  • Provide crisis intervention when clinically appropriate

Collaboration & Care Coordination

  • Collaborate with psychiatric providers, primary care providers, care managers, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Participate in case consultations and treatment planning discussions
  • Coordinate referrals and connect clients with community resources
  • Support continuity of care and patient advocacy

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Maintain treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and professional standards
  • Follow organizational policies and clinical best practices

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active New Jersey license or associate license in good standing, including:
    • LCSW
    • LSW
    • MSW
    • LPC
    • LAC
    • LMFT
    • Other qualified behavioral health licenses recognized by the State of New Jersey

Preferred

  • Outpatient behavioral health experience
  • Community-based mental health experience
  • Telehealth experience
  • Experience working with culturally diverse populations
  • Fluency in Spanish (strongly preferred)
  • Experience providing services to bilingual and multicultural populations

Work Location

Hybrid (Onsite + Telehealth)

  • Primary onsite location: South Amboy, NJ
  • Telehealth opportunities available throughout New Jersey
  • Flexible scheduling options
  • Ability to create a hybrid schedule based on client needs and clinician availability
  • Opportunity for full onsite, hybrid, or predominantly telehealth schedules depending on organizational needs
