Mental Health Therapist

Provides clinical services to children, adolescents, and/or adults to support Josselyn’s vision of Mental Health For All. The clinician is accountable for clinical, administrative, and quality and compliance responsibilities.

Schedule

• Option 1: Tuesday–Saturday, 2 day shifts, 2 evenings, and Saturday 9 AM–2 PM
• Option 2: Monday–Wednesday 11 AM–9 PM and Thursday 11 AM–8 PM (4-day work week)

Pay

$50,000–$60,000 salary determined by the clinical director based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and client-centered consultation to clients and their families
• Maintains 63% direct service hours per month
• Keeps detailed, confidential records of client sessions, progress, assessments, and treatment plans
• Creates IMCANS (IATP) Assessment within 30 days of initial client meeting; modifies, reviews, and updates in CIS as needed, ensuring updates are completed prior to the six-month due date
• Completes the LOCUS in a timely fashion
• Enters progress notes into the medical record within three business days of service
• Maintains up-to-date EMR calendar and other primary sources
• Coordinates care with other clinical staff and external providers
• Attends and participates in clinical presentations and all required meetings
• Responds to outreach and coordination regarding client fees and payments
• Participates in accreditation and certification processes, committee work, strategic planning, and community-related services

Requirements

• Clinically related graduate degree (M.A. in Counseling, MSW, MSMFT, Psy.D, Ph.D in Psychology, or a degree qualifying for QMHP in Illinois)
• Three professional references reflecting ability to perform clinical work
