Mental Health Therapist

About the role

Join our team as a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist, improving access to behavioral health care in diverse communities. You will provide culturally sensitive outpatient therapy, develop client support plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive assessments and provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support client stability.
• Participate in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care.
• Complete billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other providers, for holistic care.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Current active license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) in Virginia/Maryland or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional growth.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $58 to $73 per billable unit, variable by licensure and experience.
