About the Role
This position involves providing culturally sensitive outpatient mental health therapy to diverse clients, including individual and family sessions. The therapist will develop assessment, crisis, safety, relapse, and wellness plans, participate in case consultations and discharge planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and provide tailored therapy.
- Develop treatment, safety, crisis, relapse, and wellness plans.
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations.
- Ensure timely documentation and billing.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians, and other staff.
Requirements
- Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current active license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or eligibility.
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice, ongoing professional development, and confidentiality.
