About the role

The Mental Health Therapist will provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex SMI patients, offer continuous support, and collaborate with patient care teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex SMI patients
  • Offer continuous, regular support as patients navigate recovery, both in person and occasionally virtually
  • Deliver evidence-based care in a holistic, wrap-around care model
  • Collaborate with patient care teams and behavioral health providers to ensure an integrated, cohesive approach to care
  • Address medical needs to mitigate negative impacts of social determinants of health
  • Consultation to therapists on the treatment team, including licensed therapists and trainees; assist with program development

Requirements

  • Active Licensed Psychologist, LMSW, AMFT, or LPC license in the state of CA; onsite supervision for limited permits available
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and establishes positive relationships with other medical professionals
  • Experience and interest in working with adults and at least 1 year of experience working with patients with severe mental illness
  • Experience in evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, or MI
  • Able to navigate challenging situations with professionalism
  • Thorough understanding of confidentiality and appropriate documentation standards
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn and navigate new tools and technologies
  • Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong listening skills and excellent verbal communication capabilities

Qualifications

Pay

$75,000 to $115,000 per year based on a full-time schedule
