About the role
A provider network development position is available for a 1099 contractor in Washington state. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and managing provider networks for mental health services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to build and manage provider networks for mental health services.
- Identify potential new providers and assess their qualifications and alignment with the organization's standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
- Ensure that the provider network meets quality and performance standards.
- Manage the onboarding process for new providers, including training and orientation.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the provider network to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mental health provider network development.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience working with insurance companies and managed care organizations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement models.
- Proficiency in using healthcare management software.
