Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor - Washington

About the role

A provider network development position is available for a 1099 contractor in Washington state. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and managing provider networks for mental health services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to build and manage provider networks for mental health services.
• Identify potential new providers and assess their qualifications and alignment with the organization's standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
• Ensure that the provider network meets quality and performance standards.
• Manage the onboarding process for new providers, including training and orientation.
• Monitor and report on the performance of the provider network to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in mental health provider network development.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Experience working with insurance companies and managed care organizations.
• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement models.
• Proficiency in using healthcare management software.
