Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor - Toms River, NJ

About the role

Develops and maintains exclusive outpatient provider networks in the Toms River, NJ area. Works closely with healthcare organizations to build relationships and ensure network integrity.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential providers for the network
• Conduct outreach and negotiations with providers to secure contract terms
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and network policies
• Manage provider onboarding and ongoing support
• Monitor network performance and make adjustments as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Valid NJ Provider License
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Experience in managed care and/or healthcare provider contracting
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
