Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor - Alaska

About the role

Mentor and support clients in their mental health journey through individual therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to build a robust provider network.
• Screen potential clients for appropriate mental health services.
• Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs.
• Provide regular progress updates to clients and collaborating providers.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Licensed or license eligible to practice as a Mental Health Therapist in Alaska.
• Experience working with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
