Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor - Alabama

About the role

Mentally Healthy Providers is seeking a 1099 contractor to join our team in Alabama. The ideal candidate will have experience in provider network development for behavioral health services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and payers to build and expand provider networks.
• Collaborate with healthcare organizations to ensure alignment on clinical standards and quality measures.
• Manage contract negotiations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support marketing efforts to promote the provider network to potential clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, healthcare administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in provider network development or healthcare management.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with behavioral health providers and payers.
• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement models.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
