Accurately record vital signsExercise judgment in patient interactions and report changes to the RNFollow therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team and provide information for development and revisionEmploy crisis-intervention techniques, conduct MHT-led groups, and use facility-approved CPI techniquesAssist patients through discharge, guide in adjusting to life changes, and help with personal hygieneComply with policies for a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment, practicing universal precautions and responding to patient care priorities. Your Experience Matters What We’re Looking For Education: High School Degree or equivalent preferred; Certified Nursing or NAR required; Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy, psychology, human services, or appropriate therapeutic discipline preferred. Experience: One year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with an understanding of mental illness, preferred.Additional Skill Requirements: Successful completion of CPR certification and crisis intervention training within 10 days of employment before assisting with restraining procedures. May be required to work flexible hours.
