Mental Health Technician MHT

$3,000 sign-on bonus for newly hired full-time MHTs who start on or before August 31, 2026.

About the role

The Mental Health Technician (MHT) provides direct patient care, assists in maintaining medical records, monitors patient interactions and safety, and offers clerical support. Under the direction of an RN, the MHT performs medical procedures, collects patient data, and uses verbal and non-verbal communication skills to deliver targeted therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• 1 year of equivalent work experience in a psychiatric/addictive disease treatment facility
• CPR certification
• Reliable source of transportation

Pay

USD $17.50 - USD $22.50 per hour. The wage range for this role considers factors such as skill sets, experience, education, training, licensure, certifications, and business/organizational needs.

Schedule

Various shifts available, including 12-hour shifts (days or nights).
