Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting.
  • Participate in de-escalation activities and assure that consumers are kept safe.
  • Assist with activities of daily living.
  • Taking vitals.
  • Observing and recording patient behavior and activities.
  • Establish a therapeutic relationship with consumers.
  • Monitor and assist consumers within the facility to assure safety.
  • Transporting consumers to appointments, off grounds if needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • No experience or education is required.
  • Pass an OSBI background check.
  • Valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.

Skills

  • Ability to work in a high-stress environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of mental health treatment and crisis intervention.

Pay

Level I - $16.60 per hour.

Schedule

Primary Working Hours are 6:30am-7:00pm and 6:30pm-7:00am.
