Mental Health Technician (FT) Day Shift

About the role

Mental Health Technicians provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed professional. They assist patients with daily living activities, medication administration, and other therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and document dosages
• Monitor patients' mental and physical health, reporting changes to supervising staff
• Support patients in their recovery process through various therapeutic activities
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during shift

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Mental Health Technician or related field
• Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
