Mental Health Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Mental Health Technician/Recovery Coach to support adolescents in a residential treatment program for eating disorders and related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through their recovery journey by providing intervention aligned with treatment plans
• Foster healthy connections within the client community and team
• Assist with meal preparation, supervision, and modeling healthy eating behaviors
• Participate in therapeutic groups to promote skill development
• Conduct rounds and observations, and occasionally transport clients to appointments and activities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years post-high school education, with a preference for a Bachelor’s in Psychology
• At least one year of experience in mental or behavioral health settings (required in some states)
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Strong communication, client relations, teamwork, and flexibility skills
