About the role

This part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position serves adults with mental illnesses in North Little Rock, AR. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7pm - 7am.

Responsibilities

  • Provide services to clients under the general supervision of registered nurses, physicians, psychiatrists, or other qualified personnel.
  • Perform tasks within the scope of your educational preparation, knowledge, and permitted by policies and procedures of local, state, and federal guidelines, as well as facility policies.
  • Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team and assist with the coordination of services, including planning, monitoring, documenting, and conducting evaluations of client services.
  • Make observations regarding clients’ physical conditions, behaviors, and responses to treatment, reporting any significant changes to the appropriate supervisor and staff members.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Utilize behavioral techniques to prevent injury to patients and others, ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for clients, and respond appropriately in crisis situations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Maintenance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Healthcare Workers or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification for Healthcare Workers.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Ability to be patient, consistent, and flexible.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to alter duties to support the needs of the business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a residential setting or working in the mental health field.
