Mental Health Tech - Jonesboro IDD Facility- Weekend Nights

About the role

Arisa Health is seeking Mental Health Technicians to support its Adult IDD TC Program in Jonesboro. This program serves individuals with mental health needs, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Responsibilities

• Provide services to clients under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
• Perform tasks within the scope of education and training, adhering to facility policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, monitor, document, and evaluate client services.
• Maintain accurate records and report significant changes to supervisors and staff.
• Implement behavioral techniques to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment and respond appropriately in crisis situations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a residential setting or mental health field is preferred.
• CPR for Healthcare Workers or BCLS certification for Healthcare Workers.
