About the role

Arisa Health is seeking candidates for Mental Health Technician positions in their Adult IDD TC Program located in Jonesboro. This program serves individuals with mental health needs, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Responsibilities

  • Provide services to clients under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
  • Perform tasks within the scope of education and training, adhering to facility policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, monitor, document, and evaluate client services.
  • Make observations about clients' physical and behavioral conditions and report significant changes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and utilize behavioral techniques to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Respond appropriately to crisis situations.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a residential setting or mental health field preferred.
  • CPR for Healthcare Workers or BCLS certification for Healthcare Workers.

Qualifications

  • Good computer skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Patient, consistent, and flexible demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
