Mental Health Tech

Position Summary

Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients including but not limited to, milieu safety/management, individual patient intervention, mental health assessment, and monitoring level of functioning. In addition, provide treatment planning, psycho-educational groups, process groups, and document these actions.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 2 years of training.
• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in social support services such as mental health, social services agencies, hospitals or education.
• Behavioral Healthcare experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Commitment to compassionate patient-focused care.
