About the role

Mental Health Techs (MHT) at Peachford are degreed professionals who provide coordinated patient care to individuals with mental health, psychiatric, and addictive disease diagnoses. MHTs use their knowledge of behavioral health issues to assist patients through the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated patient care to individuals with mental health, psychiatric, and addictive disease diagnoses
• Assist patients through the continuum of care using knowledge of behavioral health issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or other related field of study
• Previous experience providing care in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric or addictive disease setting
• Interest in psychiatric, mental health, and/or behavioral health
• Passion for providing patient care in a team environment

Schedule

• Full-time weekend Baylor positions (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon) with incentive pay built in
• Weekend shifts: 7a–7p or 7p–7a
• Patient populations assigned to one of 8 different units based on age/diagnosis for individualized care
