About the role

We are seeking a Part-Time Mental Health Support Specialist to provide care and support to clients at our Long-Term Residential Programs.

Schedule

• Part-Time (Friday and Saturday Overnight Shifts Every Week)

Locations

• Scott House (Minneapolis, MN)

Pay

• Hiring Range: $20.50 / Hourly
• Shift differential of $1/hour for shifts between 3:00pm–11:00pm and 11:00pm–7:00am
• $1,000 hiring bonus for external candidates

Responsibilities

• Must have physical presence onsite.
• Document interactions with clients into the organization’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and, if applicable, program-specific documentation/record-keeping system, while providing clear and concise communication with clients, staff, and other applicable parties.
• Effectively interact and exhibit behavior consistent with customer service and professional standards established by the organization, division, and program.
• Responsible for medication administration in accordance with organization and program policies and procedures.
• Using person-centered principles, actively engage with clients in their daily activities, and develop and maintain appropriate relationships that support clients in meeting their individual goals.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation for clients experiencing mental health symptoms or other emotional responses while prioritizing client and program safety.
• Teach and/or coach Independent Living Skills as they relate to the individual’s goals and/or treatment plans.
• Attend mandatory team meetings.

Full-time staff are part of an on-call rotation.
