About the role
OhioGuidestone is actively seeking a dedicated Clinical Supervisor to join our Findlay team. The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical direction and oversight of a group of clinical treatment professionals with a high emphasis on employee development, ranging from growth within current positions to expanding leadership skills for future success.
Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of assigned staff including hiring, supervision, and high emphasis on employee development, ranging from growth within current positions and expanding leadership and supervisory skills necessary to ensure agency success.
- Demonstrates and models positive leadership, promotes a team-based work environment, and presents the agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
- Assures fiscal accountability of all assigned programs and services, including enhancement and maintenance of organizational and cross-functional agency processes.
- Assists in the development of realistic budgets, ensures adequate documentation and billing requirements are met, and proactively assures budget compliance.
- Develops detailed project plans and Logic Models to clearly define and monitor program goals and agency strategic initiatives.
- Adapts programs and services to enhance the agency’s ability to serve community needs.
- Ensures the integrity of the internship program and service delivery, compliance, and evaluation, adapting programs as compliance standards change.
- Ensures compliance with internal standards, contract/grant specifications, and licensing, regulatory, and accreditation standards (e.g., ODJFS, ODE, County, Council on Accreditation, EAGLE Accreditation, NAEYC, SUTQ, State/County HMG, Medicaid, ODMH).
- Assumes a leadership role in interpreting and supporting agency policies, implementing industry best practices, and developing program outcome measures.
- Develops a therapeutic relationship with each client and assumes a strong advocacy role, making recommendations for clinical and support services upon discharge.
- Actively participates in all treatment conferences and meetings for clients.
- Provides in-service training as requested.
- Available on call by cell phone during non-work hours for clinical consultation and crisis management.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- May be involved in planning, organizing, and implementing special events or department-specific projects.
- Exhibits positivity, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work with a State of Ohio LISW or LPCC required; LISW-S or LPCC-S with 3 years post-independent license experience preferred.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), Evolv preferred.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.
- Ability to delegate, manage people, and evaluate staff and programs.
- Demonstrated experience in attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Strong oral, written, and public speaking skills, including the ability to conduct trainings.
- Proficiency in operating a computer and position-related technologies.
- Ability to verbally exchange information confidentially in various settings.
- Flexibility to work hours as needed.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and perform duties in varying work environments, including client homes.
- Ability to access work locations and client homes, which may include ascending/descending stairs.
