MENTAL HEALTH SECURITY REP - SECURITY SPECIAL SERVICES

About the Role

The Mental Health Security role is responsible for ensuring the safety of patients and staff on the unit. This position requires handling multiple priorities, demonstrating independent discretion and decision-making skills, making decisions under pressure, managing stress, and working well with others. The role also involves managing non-compliant behaviors using appropriate Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire or transfer
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification within 90 days of hire or transfer

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in law enforcement, security work, or healthcare experience
