About the role
The Oregon State Hospital, a division of the Oregon Health Authority, seeks to hire Mental Health Registered Nurses to support individuals recovering from mental illnesses and reintegrating into their communities. This role involves administering medications, developing nursing plans, conducting assessments, and managing crisis situations.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed by providers
- Develop and implement nursing plans of care
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients
- Respond to emergencies involving potential danger
- Maintain and supervise staff to ensure a therapeutic, safe, and secure environment
Requirements
- Must hold and maintain an active Oregon Professional Registered Nurse license
- Desired attributes include experience in mental health, conflict/crisis management, leadership, and milieu management
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree +4.75% base rate
- Master’s degree + 9.5% base rate
- Doctorate degree +12% base rate

Shifts available: Swing (12:00 PM - 2:00 AM)
