About the role

The Oregon State Hospital, a division of the Oregon Health Authority, seeks to hire Mental Health Registered Nurses to support individuals recovering from mental illnesses and reintegrating into their communities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by providers
• Develop and implement nursing care plans
• Conduct assessments and respond to emergencies
• Maintain therapeutic, safe, and secure environments
• Supervise staff and manage work assignments

Requirements

• Valid and unencumbered Oregon RN license
• Experience in mental health and crisis management
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree +4.75% base rate
• Master’s degree + 9.5% base rate
• Doctorate degree +12% base rate

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of forensic psychiatric care

Pay

Salary range: $8,443.00 - $11,149.00 per month

Schedule

Shifts available: Swing (12:00 PM - 2:00 AM)
