Mental Health Provider (Psychiatric PA or NP) -Carrollton, TX

About the role

Geode Health is a rapidly growing, national provider of outpatient mental health services with a mission to “Transform mental health by making it more accessible, affordable and effective.” We are actively recruiting passionate Advance Practice Providers (Psychiatric PA or PMHNP) in the greater DFW market to partner with us in achieving that mission.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management
• Deliver supportive psychotherapy as clinically appropriate based on patient needs

Work model

Our providers enjoy a hybrid schedule, typically working three days onsite and two days via telehealth. A four-day work week is also possible, with more in-person time expected up front to build patient caseload and schedule follow-ups on telehealth days.

Requirements

• Active Psychiatric PA or PMHNP license in the state of Texas
• Active DEA license
• Passion for high-quality care
• Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Proficiency in using an EMR system and maintaining accurate electronic health records
• Ability to see a general spectrum of mental health conditions

Preferred qualifications

• More than one year of professional experience in an Advance Practice Provider role
• Experience in an outpatient setting
