About the role
Arisa Health is currently hiring for School-Based Therapists for the upcoming school year. We employ over 260 school-based providers in 401 schools across 82 school districts in Arkansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services in a school setting
- Collaborate with a treatment team and school personnel
- Render services to approximately 10,000 students annually
- Offer paid time off throughout the calendar year
- Receive school break days during Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Breaks
- Earn additional Summer Break days
- Work a school day schedule to provide more frequent therapeutic services
- Adjust schedule when students are absent to ensure consistent services
- Address common problems such as difficulty adjusting to stressful events and mental health issues
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School-Based Therapist in Arkansas
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate school schedules
- Pass a background check
