About the role

Arisa Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated School-Based Therapists to join our team. This role involves providing therapy services in a school setting to children and adolescents, with the potential to make a positive impact on their lives and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with school personnel, leadership, and the treatment team to support students’ emotional and behavioral development.
• Offer more frequent therapeutic services to a smaller caseload compared to traditional outpatient settings.
• Adjust schedules to ensure consistent services are provided when students are absent.
• Address common issues such as difficulty adjusting to stressful events and mental health issues like depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and trauma.

Requirements

• A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Licensure or certification as a School-Based Therapist in Arkansas.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug screening.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
