About the role
Arisa Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated School-Based Therapists to join our team. This role involves providing therapy services in a school setting to children and adolescents, with the potential to make a positive impact on their lives and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with school personnel, leadership, and the treatment team to support students’ emotional and behavioral development.
- Offer more frequent therapeutic services to a smaller caseload compared to traditional outpatient settings.
- Adjust schedules to ensure consistent services are provided when students are absent.
- Address common issues such as difficulty adjusting to stressful events and mental health issues like depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and trauma.
Requirements
- A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Licensure or certification as a School-Based Therapist in Arkansas.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
