Mental Health Professional - FT Day (LPCC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, AMFT, ACSW)

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to individuals under supervision, including individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide mental health consultation and training to facility staff, including screening committees and psychiatric staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-service training programs, and specialized clinical services.
• Maintain accountability for services provided through participation in the Quality Improvement program and timely recording of activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university.
• Coursework and professional experience indicating knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation.
• Licensure in the state from the appropriate state licensing board, such as LMSW or LPC, and must maintain CPR certification and any other required certifications.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Coursework and professional experience indicating knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation.

Licenses/Certifications: Licensure in the state from the appropriate state licensing board, such as LMSW or LPC, and must maintain CPR certification and any other required certifications.
