Mental Health Counselor

Sentience Psychological Services, PLLC is an outpatient psychological clinic serving clients who reside in Arizona. We have a strong group of treatment providers who value professionalism, kindness, and intellectual curiosity.

About the role

We currently have an opening for a full-time associate-level counselor or social worker. This position is open to individuals who already have an associate-level license (including a temporary license) in Arizona as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Our therapists only work with adults.

There are two primary opportunities:

• Provide treatment for individuals in our central Phoenix office.
• Provide therapy to individuals residing in long-term care facilities all around the Phoenix area. Clients are clustered together so that the therapist does not spend their day driving. Rather, they commute to one location and stay there for most of the day. We assign locations based on the therapist's residence to reduce commute time.

Sentience Psychological Services employs several other clinicians who are in various stages of development, including both master's and doctoral-level clinicians. The majority of supervision is conducted by Clinical Psychologists, providing a great learning opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes
• Develop individualized treatment plans for individual service needs
• Conduct individual therapy on a weekly basis

Requirements

• Master's degree focused on psychological counseling
• Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Arizona (including temporary license)
