Mental Health Counselor

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Therapist In Training to join our outpatient mental health team, primarily providing individual therapy services under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
• Deliver psychotherapy and provide psychoeducation
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with treatment teams and community partners
• Engage in ongoing supervision
• Apply trauma-informed and evidence-based practices

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
• Practicum experience
• Eligibility for Wisconsin "In Training" licensure (e.g., APSW, LPC-IT, MFT-IT)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active licensure
• Experience with justice-involved populations
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care
