About the role
Full-Time Therapist In Training providing outpatient mental health services under supervision to individuals, with a focus on individual therapy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments
- Develop treatment plans
- Deliver individual psychotherapy
- Provide psychoeducation
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in treatment and recovery team meetings
- Collaborate with community partners
- Engage in clinical supervision utilizing trauma-informed and evidence-based practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Practicum experience in mental health or community services
- Eligibility for or current licensure in Wisconsin (e.g., APSW, LPC-IT, MFT-IT)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred
- Active licensure
- Experience with justice-involved populations
- Trauma-informed care knowledge
Key Duties
- Focused on individual therapy with occasional group opportunities
- Participate in a hybrid work environment with flexible scheduling, including one evening appointment per week
- Maintain consistency to ensure client continuity
