Mental Health Counselor

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments
• Develop treatment plans
• Provide individual psychotherapy
• Deliver psychoeducation
• Maintain clinical documentation
• Participate in team meetings
• Collaborate with community partners
• Utilize trauma-informed, person-centered, and evidence-based practices
• Focus primarily on individual therapy with occasional group facilitation opportunities

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Practicum experience in mental health or community services
• Eligibility for or current Wisconsin "In Training" license (e.g., APSW, LPC-IT, MFT-IT)
• Valid driver's license and transportation

Preferred: active licensure, experience with justice-involved populations, trauma-informed care knowledge.
