About the role
Full-time Therapist In Training position within an outpatient mental health team, providing individual therapy services under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Deliver individual psychotherapy
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations
- Collaborate with community partners and referral sources
- Engage in ongoing supervision and professional growth activities
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
- Practicum experience in a clinical setting
- Eligibility for or holding a Wisconsin “In Training” license (e.g., APSW, LPC-IT, MFT-IT)
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
Preferred skills
- Active professional licensure
- Experience serving justice-involved populations
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices
Work environment
- Flexible hybrid schedule with onsite and telehealth options
- One evening appointment required weekly
