About the role

The role can be fulfilled either as a W-2 employee or by providing services as an independent contractor (1099). Candidates must select their preferred engagement type upon applying.

Responsibilities

• Delivering individual, group, and family counseling
• Conducting mental health assessments and treatment planning sessions
• Providing make-up sessions for missed sessions
• Completing initial treatment plans within the required timeframe
• Conducting monthly treatment plan reviews
• Performing comprehensive reassessments and updated diagnostic evaluations every 6 months
• Maintaining accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record system
• Coordinating with internal staff and external service providers
• Maintaining awareness of client barriers and addressing social determinants of health in treatment planning
• Ensuring crisis intervention and safety planning are provided as needed

Requirements

• Valid Maryland licensure, including one of the following: LCADC, LGADC, CAC-AD, CSCAD, ADT, LCPC, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCSW, LMSW, LBSW, LCMFT, LGMFT, Licensed Psychologist, Registered Psychology Associate, CRNP-PMH, APRN-PMH, CNS-PMH
• Experience in mental health counseling
• Ability to deliver services on-site, with the option to use telehealth if on-site
• Compliance with COMAR, CARF, and CSA regulations

Qualifications

• Student interns actively enrolled in a program leading to licensure in one of the specified fields may also be considered
• Experience with ICANotes documentation
• Proposed rate and compensation structure (per service)

Skills

• Knowledge of trauma-informed, person-centered practices
• Ability to integrate best practices and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in using the company’s approved treatment curriculum
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

Compensation is per service rendered, rather than by hourly wages. Payments are made based on submitted invoices reflecting the services provided.

Schedule

Services are to be rendered on-site between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Clients may be temporarily pulled from day treatment activities to receive scheduled mental health services.
