How You Will Make An Impact
Provide culturally appropriate, trauma-informed counseling to individuals, families, and groups
Maintain active case load including case notes and records in alignment with the agency’s documentation standards
Conduct mental health screenings and assessments to determine treatment needs and referrals to medication management or other adjunctive services (e.g. support group, peer support, case management)
Apply evidenced-based practices in treatment
Collaborate with consumer supports, including family members, partner agencies, and others as indicated on an ongoing basis
Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the populations served
Model and encourage direct, professional communication among staff members, and facilitate development of a positive staff support network
Who We Are Looking For
- Fluency in English and Ukrainian
- Master’s degree granted by an accredited institution in Counseling, Art Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field
- LPCA or QMHP, LPC, LCSW, CSWA
- Exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations
- Travels between worksites occasionally
- Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, client home/community settings, outdoor settings in varying weather conditions, and faith-based settings such as churches
- Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program
