About the role

Join a team dedicated to supporting vulnerable and under-served children and their families. As a Mental Health Clinician, you'll diagnose, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling and advocacy for foster youth in Concord, Pittsburg, Antioch, and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plan development for each client on the caseload
  • Provide counseling, intake, clinical case management, advocacy, linkage, support, and individual and family therapy for clients and families
  • Maintain client charts to ensure compliance with Medi-Cal regulations
  • Document delivery of services via daily progress notes
  • May offer services via telehealth or in-person depending on client needs and safety issues
  • Travel to client's home or other community locations as needed

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in related field
  • First Aid/CPR Certified
  • Valid CA driver’s license and auto insurance

Qualifications

  • Licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) or registration (ASW, AMFT, APCC) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
  • Experience in social services and system-involved youth
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with EPSDT Medi-Cal funded programs
  • Experience working as part of a treatment team providing intensive services
  • Spanish/English bilingual (Differential offered for Spanish fluency)

Benefits

  • Starting salary $72,100 - $78,766
  • Additional $3,000 for BBS Licensure
  • Additional $5,000 for Bilingual (Spanish Only)
