About the Role
UCF RESTORES is a clinical research center and treatment clinic dedicated to transforming the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related concerns. This position is for a Mental Health Clinician II, who will provide empirically supported treatments to clients with anxiety, stress, trauma, and PTSD, integrating innovative technologies such as virtual reality into therapeutic practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy services, assessments, crisis intervention, and consultation.
- Integrate technology into prevention, resilience, and intervention efforts, including virtual reality, virtual environments, web-based technologies, and mobile applications.
- Deliver outreach programming and workshops on developmental, preventative, peer-support, and psychological topics.
- Assist with training programs for first responders, clinicians, graduate students, and medical students.
- Serve as a liaison between UCF RESTORES and community-based agencies, mental health hospitals, and private practitioners.
- Assist administrators and groups in resolving program-specific issues and disseminating clinic rules, policies, and contracts.
- Perform other clinical or administrative duties as requested.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor by the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Valid Class E driver’s license; may involve driving to various locations on and off campus.
- Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing Trauma Management Therapy.
- Experience with individual and group therapy services, including assessment, crisis intervention, and consultation.
- Experience collaborating with community partners, hospitals, first responders, or multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and outreach services.

Pay
Anticipated salary range: $56,030 to negotiable, based on candidate’s qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional nights and weekends.
