Mental Health Clinician II

About the role

Wellspring is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to provide therapy in an outpatient and community housing setting. This position involves supervising developing professionals, providing therapy, conducting assessments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy in an outpatient and community housing setting
• Supervise developing professionals
• Support and ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients
• Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Process, interview, and screen referrals
• Administer client assessment tools and complete discharges from the program
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
• Document using electronic health records
• Provide information on medication to clients
• Offer case management services when necessary
• Participate in "on call" shifts (compensated and rotated every quarter)

Qualifications

• A Master's in Social Work for the LCSW or a Master's, Specialist, or Doctorate Degree in Counseling or a closely related field for the LPCC
• Experience working with populations with a serious mental illness (SMI)
• Knowledge of community resources, mental status exams, and the recovery model of persons with SMI
