Join Got It!, a specialist school-based early intervention team supporting children, families and schools to strengthen children's social and emotional wellbeing. Work collaboratively with parents, teachers and school communities to deliver evidence-based early intervention.

  • Employment Type: Temporary Full Time until 10 May 2027 (with possibility of ongoing employment)
  • Position Classification: Health Clinician Level 1/2
  • Hours Per Week: 38
  • Remuneration: Dependent on qualifications
  • Salary per week: Health Professional Level 1/2: $1,522.06 - $2,171.41; Psychologist: $1,603.53 - $2,347.04

Where you'll be working

Got It!, Child & Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS), based in North Ryde.

What you'll be doing

You will work as part of the Got It! multidisciplinary team to deliver school-based early intervention for primary school children and their families. The role includes assessment and evidence-based intervention with children and families, facilitating child and parent groups, working collaboratively with teachers and school staff, and providing education and training to parents and school communities.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy or nursing and relevant registration with AHPRA and eligibility to the AASW
  • Meet criteria for full registration for psychologists
  • Clinical skills and experience in the assessment and treatment of children and their families presenting with complex mental health needs, using evidence-based approaches
  • High level of interpersonal skills and commitment to working closely with other members of a multi-disciplinary team

Additional information

  • This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases. You will be required to complete the OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool during the recruitment process.
