Field-based role serving adults aged 18 and older who have transitioned from settings such as adult family homes or assisted living facilities and require additional behavioral supports to maintain their placement.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients and their support systems to develop a Safety and Crisis Plan and an Individual Behavior Support Plan.
- Conduct weekly client sessions focused on achieving their reported goals.
- Engage and educate family members and residential staff on strategies to work more effectively with clients.
- Maintain ongoing evaluations, progress notes, plans, and meeting documentation to track client progress or address behaviors.
- Participate in after-hour phone crisis response approximately one week every three months.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Two years’ direct treatment experience with clients with a mental health diagnosis, under the supervision of a mental health professional (supervised internship/practicum hours count toward this experience).
- Eligibility as a Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor through WA DOH (assistance with submission available).
- Licensed in Washington as a Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or other Behavioral Health Provider, or licensed at an Associate level in one of these disciplines (an application as a Certified or Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor is required until the Associate license is secured).
- Alternatively, licensed in Washington as a Behavior Analyst with accompanying Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst.
- Satisfactory results from fingerprinting and background checks.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
Pay
$29–38/hour, with opportunity for additional incentive-based pay up to 10% biweekly.
Schedule
Flexible daytime and evening schedule, self-determined by the clinician.
