About the role

As a Mental Health Professional, you will work with adults aged 18 and older who have been discharged from lesser levels of care such as an adult family home or assisted living facility, and need additional behavior supports to maintain that placement. You will meet with the client and support systems to create a Safety and Crisis Plan and Individual Behavior Support Plan, and meet with the client weekly to focus and work toward their reported goals. You will engage family members and the residential staff, collaborating and educating them on ways to more successfully work with the clients. You will maintain ongoing evaluations, progress notes, plans, and meeting documentation to show client progress or behaviors to address. This position includes after-hour phone crisis response approximately 1 week every 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Create Safety and Crisis Plans and Individual Behavior Support Plans with clients and their support systems
• Meet with clients weekly to work toward their reported goals
• Engage and educate family members and residential staff on effective ways to support clients
• Maintain ongoing evaluations, progress notes, plans, and meeting documentation
• Participate in after-hour phone crisis response (approximately 1 week every 3 months)

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
• 2 years’ direct treatment experience with clients with a mental health diagnosis, under the supervision of a mental health professional (supervised Internship/practicum hours count toward this experience)
• Eligible as a Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor through WA DOH (assistance with submission available)
• Licensed in Washington as a Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or other Behavioral Health Provider, or licensed at an Associate level in one of these disciplines (an application as a Certified or Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor is required until the Associate license is secured)
• Licensed in Washington as a Behavior Analyst with accompanying Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst
• Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and background checks
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance

Pay

$31–39/hour ($64,000–81,000/year) with opportunity for additional incentive-based pay up to 10% biweekly.

Schedule

Flexible daytime and evening schedule you create. Hybrid role based in the Everett/Lynwood/Marysville, WA area—work from home with travel to clients in the community.
