Mental Health Clinician

The Opportunity

As a 1099 contract clinician (remote - telehealth) with Stop Soldier Suicide, you will be a vital part of our life-saving mission, delivering structured suicide-specific care to the military community.

• Provide evidence-based clinical care and suicide prevention interventions to at-risk service members and veterans.
• Conduct telehealth counseling, assessments, and safety planning tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Build trusting, ongoing therapeutic relationships rooted in trauma-informed, culturally competent practice.
• Help advance outcomes that support a 40% reduction in military suicide by 2030.

Qualifications

We're looking for clinicians who are:

• Fully licensed mental health professionals (e.g., LCSW, LPC, Psychologist, etc.) — current and in good standing.
• Skilled in suicide-specific assessment and intervention, crisis management, and safety planning.
• Passionate about working with the military and veteran population, including understanding military culture and risk factors.
• Comfortable working in a telehealth environment with flexibility in scheduling.
